Key Features
Form & Function
Tohatsu’s newly designed gear case has been given a more torpedo-like shape for optimal hydrodynamic flow, reducing water drag and improving performance – from planing to top end speed. A gear ratio of 2.17:1 optimizes low end torque and the ability to turn a wider variety of propellers for many boating applications.
Steady as she Goes
Idling and trolling speed can be adjusted by pressing the key switch on your remote control box or multi-function tiller handle. (from 750 to 1050 RPMs)
Lightest Weight in Class
MFS25/30D is the lightest in its class. By redesigning the crankshaft and intake manifold, we have reduced the weight of each component by 37% and 48% respectively.
With a total weight reduction of 13.5kg, the MFS25/30D is 19% lighter than the previous version.
EFI
Advanced Battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for smoother operation, easier starting and greater fuel efficiency in any condition.
Warranty
From 1st April 2017 all Tohatsu manufactured outboards sold for pleasure use have a 7 year warranty.
